Gearbox Gs300

I looking at getting a half cut from a GS300 JZS160 with VVT 2JZ-GE(non turbo), so it have to be 97 or later?

trying to find information about which gearbox they run? 4 speed auto (97) or 5 speed auto (98+)? is this right?

and what the gearbox codes are? ie A340E A340LE

up to 97 i know they are a 4 speed.. sure the series 2 was the same as they used the same engine and gearbox.

from 2000 onwoods they had 5 speed auto's

anybody know the gearbox's codes for the 4 speed auto?

are they the same auto's from the chasers?
