Hi everyone,

My 2005 ES300 (mcv30) needs new read shock absorbers.

I found online that KYB seems to be on the firm side and Monroe is softer. Is that your experience? I prefer the softer ride so will like to hear your exp.

Also, I found two KYB models both works for my car but one is 50 dollars more. Do you see any value for the more expensive? I would like to preserve the original ride of the car. So I am welling to spend a bit extra to have that. Any other suggestions I consider other than the below?

Option 1

KYB Excel-G Shock Absorber Rear LH 334341 | Sparesbox

Option 2

KYB Excel-G Shock Absorber Rear LH 334389 | Sparesbox

Option 3

Rear Monroe Monro-Matic Plus Shock Absorbers for Lexus ES MCV20 MCV30 98-01 (superspares.com.au)

Thanks

A
