I have decided to get myself Altezza RS200 if I sell my car B)

Hopefully in one or two month I will have it.

I am not familiar with NA cars (wrx is my first car), so I need some info about modifications.

First thing I am going to buy a filter and full exhaust.

What should I do next?

What else can I do?

I do not want to do a turbo or supercharger because it will be difficult to sell the car in the future.

This is what you can do...

-Apex-i Intake (Extremely hard to find)

-HKS Racing 4-2-1 Header

-HKS Hiper Exhaust

-Apex-i S-AFC II

After this...expect an 40 hp + increase at the wheels

How many kilowatts at the wheels (atw)?

Filter AU$200

AFC-II AU$500

Exhaust AU$1500

Headers AU$2000

So for around $5000 I can get 40hp.

Will it go from 0-100 under 6 seconds or low 6s?

Thanks for help ;)

Filter (HKS) - $100 AUD

S-AFC II (Apex-i) - $500 AUD

Exhaust (HKS Hiper) - $570 AUD

Headers (HKS Racing) - $1xxx AUD

Plus Shipping and Labour - so around $2500 you will get 40 + hp...these prices are off course only if you get them from me (Japan / Hong Kong) in Aus? good luck or ask Naroka and Reverbs how much they are suffering.....lolz...

Welcome to the club Ivan,

There are a large number of tuning options available for the Altezza. You can spend small amounts (for minimal gains) to considerable cash for large gains (ie turbo/charger etc). Flywheel, exhaust, induction, manifold, coilovers, roll-bars etc are all available.

I would look around at different brands no matter what you want. For example, a HKS induction isn't as effective as a Blitz, but an Apexi/Trust may be louder. Same principle behind exhausts - TRD, Blitz, HKS, Apexi all do exhausts.

Take a look at the folloing site for an idea of all the tuning options available.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info.

$2500 for all these parts!!! It is cheap

I spent same money just on my exhaust!!! WRX parts are expensive

I already have 18” by 7.5” Racing Heart wheels on my car, so I do not have to buy new wheels, I will put them on RS200.

I will have around $5000 to spend on mods. I have done a bit of research on the net and decided to get these parts:

Blitz Ram Pod Filter, Apexi Hayabusa Exhaust, Apexi S AFC-II and HKS Headers.

What do you think about these mods?

Yeah it's decent...but the Blitz Pod Filter si really expensive and not really worth the money...
