Lolz!! How do you know the cops don't cheat??!!

If the Roads Dept have numbered posts along the highways they usually have distances marked on them, and on bridges as well. On some roads around the North Island they have white poles with single green stripes and a number showing every one Km.

If you drive at a constant 100kph it will take 36seconds to do a Km. (or at 120kph it takes 30seconds and $160!) All you need is a mate with a stopwatch.

Anyway, check it our because 10% is the worst I've seen, (not on a Toyota!) and I think Lexus are within 5%. 18" wheels will make it a little more accurate.
