Hoping for some advice here....

I've been told that only some Nokia phones (but most Sony Erikson) will allow upload of phonebooks to in-car bluetooth system.

No luck in getting the model numbers of phones that allow this function from dealer (and I've rung a few).

Anyone here had any experience with this, or know phone model numbers that will allow phonebook upload?

I don't think you can transfer a whole phonebook in one update. Mine were all done individually, and the dealer did all the original ones whilst I was finalising the financing. Everyone since then has been done seperately

Yes each individually. I've used Nokia N73 and N95. both worked.

Thanks for the info - I purchased an N73 connected no problem - and I managed to copy entire phone book from phone to car in one go (with a bit of trial and error) - took about 5 seconds to do the transfer.

Hey Mate,

I also managed to copy the whole book in one go...if i recall correctly i had to try a couple of times...Also make sure you have no interruptions, like phone calls etc...good luck
