Is200 1jz Conversion

hello there, my fellow lexus owners!

i currently own a 1999 Lexus is200 and i am currently in the process of purchasing a JZX100 Chaser half cut, and i would like some advice about what specific parts i need to get the conversion done.

anyone with prior experience would be great assistance.

what would be the challenges with the conversion?

ive seen a conversion done awhile back.. was with a 2jzgte engine. was very nice and quick, but end price was over the roof.. from what i remember, he needed new gearbox, diff, drivetrain ect. end price was close to 15k, and thats with him doing some of the work himself.. very pricey.. my advice is to get rid of the IS200 and go out and buy a IS300 which comes with a 2jzGE engine and work it from there..
