hi ive got a rs200 altezza with 4 cylinder beams motor and 6 speed box, its a z edition, and ive just bought a l edition altezza as well that is turbo.

just wondering if any one knows what altezzas have lsd diffs and how do i tell if my 2 altezzas do?

lol! No they dont! They all have Diffs, but not all are LSD's, I belive all Aussie models, except the Yello special Edition like Stephens are non LSD

Carrying over from our last discussion, they have Torsen diffs, not clutch-type LSDs.

They will try to equalise the torque to each rear wheel, but can do nothing when one wheel loses traction completely. (you can't multiply zero toque)

Clutch LSDs will drive both rear wheels, even if one is on a jack!

Are we agreed?

Yeah, my Supra had the torsen LSD, and on the hoist, spinning one wheel, didnt make the other spin, where other diffs, spinning one wheel one way, the other wheel wheel spin the opposite way.
