Navigation Upgrade?

Hi Everyone, I'm very new to this forum. This is my first post,

I was wondering what's the best way to upgrade my SatNav?

Have recently purchased a Pearl White 08 IS250, and have been reading a few threads.

I'm unable to find one that suits me. As i am a female so i'm not as tech savy as many of you here and i don't want to void my warrenty (hehe)

Call a dealer regarding an upgrade DVD. Costs about 400 bucks.

Or you can download it for free from torrents, but you need to know how to do all that.

Personally I woudln't bother, you probably have v14 installed (since your car is an 08 model) The current version is v15. Not much change. Just wait till version 16 comes out perhaps...

I can download the Torrents file and burn it into a cd. But what do i do after that? are there any instructions? :)

Your car's user manual has all the instructions. The DVD drive where you put the navigation DVD into is behind the panel on the dash that has the hazzard lights switch and clock.

Look into the book, it's real easy. You'll need these special tools to pop it open though, they're located in the boot.
