This is a bit embarrassing, but how on earth do I get inside the tail light assembly of a 1996 LS400 in order to change a dead lamp please? Is there a how-to guide available. Something so trivial shouldn't appear so difficult!

This is a bit embarrassing, but how on earth do I get inside the tail light assembly of a 1996 LS400 in order to change a dead lamp please? Is there a how-to guide available. Something so trivial shouldn't appear so difficult!

Open the boot and look for two circular covers on the lamp, remove them by inserting a small, flat screwdriver into the gap, undo the screws behind them and pull the lamp towards you carefully :)

Replace bulbs and refit ;)
