ilifa Posted January 6, 2011 Share Posted January 6, 2011 The auto tilt recently stopped short of the full down position I use. It also gave a light click when it started moving. What I tried was to turn off the ignition, hold the tilt switch in the down position and then turn the ignition back on. When the auto tilt is on and i pull the key out of the ignition it makes a queer noise as if its trying to engage but wont move. sometimes if i tap it it will then move in and tilt up... is this a common fault or is mine getting worn out. because its so much better when it tilts away so my knees dont hit on the wheel haha.
