Hi, I am running DBA T2 Slotted with Remsa Pad's. I am not having any issues with them. They are quite and are wearing well as I do about 25k+ per year. What rotors are you running?
I would be running solid rotors if you are worried about wear as they will not be as aggressive on the pads for daily driving. The slotted ones do look better though!

Not sure on other years, but my 2009 Sports has full leather seats and auto. Last sports just before F-Sport edition. I thought all Sports had 18 inch rims standard. The older sports had a manual I believe.

Hi, I have not tried but would look at some products that polish plastic headlights etc.

Hi, I am running DBA T2 slotted front and rear with Remsa pads. I personally think braking is better than OEM and looks better anyway! I got DBA's from MRT Motorsport and Pads from Chatswood Brakes.
-
Hi, I sourced the front slotted DBA T2's from ebay (MRT) and then rang them for the rears. I sourced the Remsa pads from Chatswood Brake and Clutch.

Hi, I am using DBA T2 slotted rotors all round with Remsa Pads. My brakes are working very well with great pedal feel and stopping. It is working for me. Bought the Slotted rotors from MRT and pads from Chatswood Brakes.

I am finding the Remsa pads pretty good. I have had a few hard stops and seem just as good as the OEM pedal feel (I have not noticed any lack of at least).

Hi All, I have just installed DBA T2 Slotted Discs front and rear with Remsa pads all round. So far they are quiet, cleaner and stop very well. Only done approx 500 km so far but I am very happy with this combination.

Hi like you ilv1004s, I love the new look but can't wait to see the coupe version.

I would insure with anyone other than a AAMI insurance company. Just Cars is just a specialty Insurer for AAMI.
-
Hi Sapphire Cam, I too have had this. Except it felt like the car was being shaken from side to side at speed. Lexus fixed it quickly when they saw the park brake pads(?) were scortched just on the driver's side.
-
Hi ilv1004s, I also have a sports 2009 and it has the normal heated and cooled seats. Not the other alcantara ones.
-
I love the new look. I am due to replace my car in next 12 months. Can't wait to see the real deal.
-
Yeah I would be interested.

Hi Avante, I paid from memory about $300 odd (maybe more) for some Lexus Racks. If you are after a cheaper option I have a set of Rola Roof Racks that I am selling as I only have one IS250 now. You can PM me and I can discuss them with you.

I am insured with Aioi - Lexis Insurance and I am covered for Burrows Drive Days. (IS250 Sport). I ring them everytime I go and ensure all is ok.

I am on North Shore as well. I would be happy to meet up.

Hi Samsung001, let us know what you think when you have installed. It is an easy install to do yourself. Hope you like it as much as I do. I think it also sounds a bit better after a few weeks of use.

As with Atlantis, The F-Sport Air Intake and Greddy exhaust did not make any change to fuel consumption. I still average about 6.8 on a round trip to Newcastle and did 6.3 to Brisbane. It just depends upon how heavy your foot is!
-
I was averaging 9.1 on 18's. (about 50k) I average 10 now with exhaust & ait intake change. I drive maybe(!!) a lot harder now just to hear the exhaust. Plus track days don't do much for the average. :)

I have had the DBA T2's for over a year now and just checked and I have plenty of disc to go. They have worn a little but would expect at least another 12 months. Pads have plenty of life as well.
Make sure when you have new rotors to bed them in correctly as this should extend their like etc.
Front discs are DBA2726S, Rears DBA2727S. Remsa Pads.
If you want solids just take 'S' off model numbers.
I am happy with these as stated and have a second set already sitting on the shelves when these have done their time.
