How about changing the standard 10" sub to a better sub?

I am pretty sure a lot of you would think that the standard 10" subwoofer has no bass what so ever, and i'm pretty sure there have been many discussions about changing to a better subwoofer.

My question is who has done it in this forum and could someone please take some pics and show us? Any suggestions on the various options to choose from?

I've heard people left the standard sub and put another 12" sub + mono amp before. :P

This really sux,I bought the IS250 luxury model on 07 and look at the facts below:

1. ISX/ISF

2. No Auto lock door on 07 model

2. No auto fold mirrors

This is BS!

While I agree with you the really BS part is the Sat Nav/Media Player not working while you are driving.......now that suxs!!!

C'mon guys, lets be fair

Whilst I like to have the latest and greatest, if the manufacturers didn't continually improve their cars I would have nothing to look forward too when it came time to update. I'll live without the auto mirrors and doors until then. I've spent the last 20 years driving cars with less features than what I have now, and look forward to the continued improvements.

The satnav/media thing is just for safety. As the recent advertising has been spruiking, good drivers just drive. Surely watching a DVD means you are not concentrating on the job at hand, same with playing with the satnav.

I know I sound like a killjoy, but I've had too many near misses with people distracted by mobile phones and sat navs to see any benefit in further distractions.

Don't like that red, black middle is ok. Carbon look surrounded looks good but i perfer my wood grain unless i have the ISF engine =p

Not sure myself at the moment, you would have to assume in the pilar, but I will look into it and let you know. Have you tried changing the microphone gain level in the diagnostic mode??( Headlight procedure). That should do the trick!! I have actually turned my one down because I had complaints about echoing. Seemed to do the trick!!

Nope haven't tried the diagnostic mode at all, where abouts do i need to go once i'm in?

Great post! I've done this hack on the first month when I got the car, funny I don't watch DVDs when I'm driving though. ;)

I don't watch DVDs while driving, but you can't beat playing Metallica's S&M DVD in full surround while driving...

Whoa looks nice! What's involved in changing to LED's is it just a matter of putting a different bulb in or does it involve rewiring a whole bunch of things?? :)

I believe anyone could do it themselves (there is instruction on the drivers manual), you just need a small hand to get the job done. I recommend you use a spanner for the right hand side though, unscrew the bolt to free up more space from the washer tube, open the lid and change the bulb ;)

If you guys looking for long term investment on our IS250, i suggest to put a clear bra on asap before you get more rock chips.

Its will cost around $650.00 including installation, i already put one on my IS250 (Chrystal Mist). The whole kit including full front bumper,

front bonnet, headlights, foglights, rear view mirrors, behind 4 door handles and a piece cover on top of rear bumper. This guy (www.ozicozi.com.au)

done a great job for my car and buy the way i'm from Melbourne.

I just purchased a new IS 250 and have already obtained 2 stone chips. Subsequently, I have been investigating car bra's, bonnet protection, etc and have found that clear 3M type film maybe the way to go. Then I came across your post regarding the clear bra you have put on your vehicle. Wondering if you can tell me whether your product has done it's job thus far ie: do small stones penetrate it and mark the paint?, Is it peeling off? Does washing the car affect it? Or any other relevent info!!!
