  1. Yes of cuz you can change with the current engine. Since you're going to turbocharge it many stuffs has to change example piston, camshaft, ecu, valve spring, piping, Gearbox if needed [(2jzge 5 speed transmission, 2jzgte 4 speed transmission)], and etc. These items could easily reach $10k with ease.

Not changing these stuffs will make you drive uncomfortably in the end it will be in the garage sitting for ages.

I might be wrong, best thing bring it to tuner who really can tunes 2jzgte.

Can you not just turbo charge your engine without doing a complete engine swap? Surely there wouldn't need to be TOO much done to your current engine that it won't blow your budget.

  2. I don't think the lexus gs300 comes with a 2jzgte.. only the 2jzge. only the Toyota Aristo has the 2jzgte. i wanna swap my gs300 (2jzge) to the 2jzgte. Really an underdog. lolz. Its round $9000 swapping the engine since the chassis are the same which is the jzs160 and 161. It includes gearbox, fitment and etc. except tuning. Quite expensive huh.

    Thats cool man.

I was referring to the 2JZ-GTE. I have just never seen a Lexus badged GS300 with the 2JZ-GTE, I have only seen them with the non-turbo 2JZ-GE.

My question is/was are you able to buy a Lexus badged GS300 with a 2JZ-GTE engine or did only the Toyota badged Aristo's come with that engine (due to the American market).

And if you can get an actual GS300 with the twin turbo engine would I be right in assuming they are very rare and probably more expensive then their Toyota counterparts?

I think that made sense... haha!

  3. Why get oem rims ? better to get aftermarket rim when you want to spend that amount .

Hi...am looking for a set of OEM Lexus rims (with tyres if u have them but don't really care) for an 08 IS250 SL - 2 x 18"x8.0" + 2 x 18"x8.5". Am interested in (in order of preference):

    1. Blade alloys (from the IS250X) - 5 spoke

    2. Sports alloys (also called the Spider alloys I understand) - 10 spoke (5 groups of 2 spokes)

    3. F1 alloys - 15 spoke
