Can you pair your phone to a Bluetooth headset? If you can't, Bluetooth chip on your phone could be screwed.
Can you pair a different phone to your car? If you can, then you know the Bluetooth chip in the car still works!

Anyone in Sydney have a set hiding in their garage to get rid of?

Red P Plater SGM 250 Cruising next to me thru Stratty/Burwood with intake. Anyone here?

Freaken idiots with nothing better to do! Feel for you man! My old car got keyed around the whole car i.e all doors, all 1/4 panels, bonnet & boot! I was gutted... I know how you feel!
Your mum can't tell you off for that... It's not like you were trying to drift the car & then wrapped it around a pole!

I enjoy the 5zigen exhaust most of the time just the way it sits nicely in the bumper & the way it sounds, untill going up hills. Then the fsport intake when doing some spirited driving!
Man... i hate reading through forums as it really makes me itchy to get more mods done! Next on the to-do list prob HIDs

A silver CT200h being transported at the back of a tow truck passing by Hume Highway Bankstown. I reckon they look quite nice in real life than in photos!

I'd called up Lexus & they confirmed my one is potentially affected! They said they will be sending out letters soon.

Ohh... Didn't know you can get defected for mirror tints!
Sticking to black then!
-
After today's heat in Sydney, wanna get some tints done!
What does everyone think about mirror tints on a silver IS?
Or play it safe & go for black tints?

Ur reflectors!
Did u take them off or painted them?!

Did you have a "Mummy" look?
The pesky things are hard to locate.
Open the tool kit and look at the center spine. The tools are quite small and VERY easy to miss seeing.
Yeap.. Center spine of tool kit.. There is a little piece of Velcro you can lift up. I can see where the two picks would sit, but nothing there!

Ok, did mine today and thought I would share experiences.
Dowloaded and created a DVD of V15. Couldn't find any links to V16 (yet).
The video by Korvan on the 7 September 2008 in this thread is well worth viewing before attempting this task (thanks Korvan for uploading).
I had troubles finding the two tools. I opened the Safety Triangle pack before I "discovered" the false tray over the mini spare wheel. Then I found the funny shaped tool kit next to the spare wheel. Upon opening the tool kit, I didn't immediately find the two slim keys located in their own fully covered pocket in the centre spine of the tool kit.
Using the tools I found that a reasonable force was needed to push the tools home. Then it took a reasonable force to "walk" the clock fascia out of the dashboard.
After that, things progressed smoothly from ejecting the original DVD and inserting my own. Be aware that there's a shortish wait while the DVD spins up, initialises, then presents a screen warning not to change power settings till the loading process completes (about 45 seconds).
On the first drive test, it took a few minutes for the display to come onto a correct track. (Initially I was tracking in nearby Sydney Harbour). After the few minutes lost in the Harbour, the tracking settled onto the correct road and now a few days since the update, all is 100% good.
I'd just checked inside my toolkit & the two picks are not there!! >_<
I currently have v14 in mine & the orginal paperwork that came with the car (user manuals, etc... ) had v13.
So it looks like mine was upgraded at one stage & the picks weren't put back into the toolkit!
I wonder if I can get replacement picks from a dealer?

Front looks nice, but the 1st thing that came to mind when I saw the rear was that it looked like the Mazda 3 hatch!

I was calling Lexus dealers in Sydney for a 30K service quote today & mentioned that my car feels like it wants to stall when idling at times... I was describing this issue and the first thing he asked was what fuel I was using??!
This car has only ever had V-Power & done 22K
Then he goes that if you use E10 it will go away! All the cars they have there are all fueled up with E10 & don't have this problem.
I was thinking to myself WTF??
What do you guys reckon?

to autolock in drive and autounlock in park - it needs to be done with the lexus IT machine they plug into under your dash. Takes 3 seconds - the guy told me it isnt possible doing it by yourself
Strange, I've set up mine so that when I change gear from PARK to any other it locks the doors, then unlocks when putting back to PARK. When I unlock the doors in DRIVE position though, the car locks them back as soon as the speed is over ~25km/h. If you want to have it set up this way - it is all in the manual, no special IT machine required unless we are talking about 2 different options here.
hey Bartek, I've tried doing this on my is250 built 11/07 with emv + sunroof without any sucess!
Is there a trick to it?

hmmm... I've experienced this last weekend & probably about another 2 times over the last yr of mine when I had my A/C on... My didn't sound as erratic as DANSLEX's experience, but I did notice the idling change.
I was going to mention this at my next service that is due in May.

I have paired my N95 & my 3GS without any issues. Rock solid and never dropped out at all!
