What state are you located in?
-
Sounds like a good result.
Who was the workshop in case anyone else has the same issue?
-
That does sound dramatic.
Never heard anyone call them a lemon.

I like that...
Maybe bigger wheels and a slight drop.

It is not a feature that can be turned on or off in any Lexus at present.

Welcome to the forum.
Great 1st post.
Sorry but we get these 1st posts way too often.....and then they're never back again.
Good way of driving down our own resale values.

You can't just clear it. You need to call a dealer and book it in.
This is a new feature that most mechanics wouldn't know where to start with.
The pop up bonnet, a pedestrian safety feature, has been activated from your frontal collision.
If the small pyrotechnical devices under the bonnet have been activated, which go off in a front impact, then they may need replacing. Along with the grill that you've broken.
Does your car have parking sensors?
Really hate it when a wall just jumps out in front of you. :)

Yep fully agree with you BCHLER.
All reports are that this was a sub par event and it was only the name "Cars & Coffee" that was the same as the old event at Cavalino's. Which was fantastic.
Especially in the average level of cars in attendance. It was originally an event for exotics and rare/collectable cars. Or as the organisers had put it "It’s an eclectic and expensive mix."
Now if you've got a Hyundai with a flash set of wheels apparently that's enough to warrant putting it "on show".
It is a one road in and out type of venue so really not a smart choice.
It won't last long though as complaints from locals will shut it down as traffic was a nightmare. .

How awesome is Phillip Island?
Such a great track.
I was there in December for 3 track days back to back on my bike. And in 35 degree heat....exhausted.

I thought by "tuning" you meant performance mods.
I'd be keen to see that.

I think we will see repeated updates and upgrades generally in the in car infotainment area.
Hopefully Pandora is just the start

How much data does Pandora or Spotify use?
Is there a way to quantify it's data use?

You should go back to the salesperson you got the car from for a 2nd lesson on how everything works.
It will cost you nothing.
Buying a car with the latest technology makes going back for at least a 2nd run through is a must.

Car looks great Leeroy

There is a for sale section.....

I think the OP was one of those one post wonders...
Yep......the one post wonders usually are asking everyone...."how much did you pay???"
All that does is drive down everyone's resale values.
Then they never come back.

The number is only for cutting keys, the metal part. It has nothing to do with coding unfortunately.
And the gumtree ad is only good if you still have one key.

The problem is then school holidays.
I turn my school zones off but leave speed camera warnings on.

Pretty sure Parramatta Lexus will match or beat any small regional dealership.
Plus if they're your local dealer it will be nice to go back to them after you pick it up for them to show you how everything works, or if you have any little issues.
You buy Lexus for their legendary after sales service.
It's a bit hard to get that if you have to drive back out of Sydney each time.

Fuel range/economy in both 200t & 300h should be something you'll be happy with coming from a Prado

What dealership are you both going through?
Thinking of buying Lexus RCF any help or advice ?
