  1. +1 again for Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer.

I cleaned my entire interior with it a few days ago. Doesn't leave any slimy or shiny residue (like ArmorAll) and removed the marks you mention.

Hi i have tried the Mequiars quick interior detailer and i cant say it got rid of my marks of my door trims . It did make my dash look alot better than what it was before .

  2. I recently replaced my front pads and rotors. I went for ebc blacks. I think they call them ultimax. I wouldn't recommend them. Black by name, black by nature. Wheels started to turn black on the way back from the car wash. They do stop well though. With the rotors, They are the same for Aurion so check out the price for Aurion rotors. The part numbers are different but the rotors are the same. There is another toyota model that takes the same one too but I cant remember which one it is. The reason im letting you know this is that maybe because they are for a lexus, You might be paying a premium.

Has anyone tried the GCT's. Are they cleaner?

    Cheers

    Darren

Aurion rotors are not the same as IS250 rotors different thickness ... they do have the same pcd thought

  3. just thought i'd add

i purchased the Bendix General CT as replacement pads from the local mechanic. $150 for front pair, $150 for rear pair.

No idea how they compare to OEM as my previous weren't OEM i dont think,

that said they provide smooth soft braking and work reasonably well far as I can tell and give off minimal brakedust if any at all..

fyi: my last car was a 2009 BMW 135i which comes stock with Brembo Sports brakes.

Those brakes were SUPER instant feedback + equally SUPER brake dust

    I dont mind these ones

That is way to much for those pads i could get the set for about $150 .... PM me if anyone is intrested can alos get rotors for way cheaper than retail price

  4. As Danslex mentioned the fuel filter costs about $130 and is situated in the tank, hence the removal of the rear seat is required.(relatively high labour cost)Interestingly I was in the uk last week and rang a lexus dealer to see what they charged for one.(I`ve done about 75000kms)He came back with about $70 (for the petrol engine) and asked why I wanted it as he had never sold one.Apparently over there it isn`t in the service schedule to be changed at any mileage and wondered why its different.

The fuel filter should be changed every 75k's because it gets dirty . I have changed a couple of these type fuel filters before the labor time is not that long when you get used to changing them although its a bit tricky to do . As i am led to believe from a Toyota rep that used to come to my work our fuel and way its distributed is not as for lack of a better word clean as most countries overseas .But the fuel smell and the fact the fuel will spill every where is unavoidable because of the pressure in the fuel lines .
