  1. Hi,

in the FAQ for the NAV/Video

Is a switch required to work with your product?
Our system is designed to be there only when it’s needed. Our system can be activated and deactivated by simply pressing a button on our switch. The wired remote switch dimension is (L) 1½” x (W) ¾” x (H) ½”. For 2010+ Lexus models and selected 2012+ Toyota models* with Entune system, a switch is no longer required! The activation/deactivation of our system is now integrated with the factory buttons on the steering wheel!

have you been able to activate/deactivate from the steering wheel controls?being a 2010+ car

    Thanks

  2. Hi All,

When approaching the car to unlock the doors, the rear right door will not unlock. whereas all the other doors unlock.

Furthermore, as a standard you get 2 beeps when doors unlock, im now getting around 6-8 beeps when unlocking the doors.

im guessing this is a warning indication that there is an issue with the central locking system?

can this be easily fixed or should i just wait a few months till my next service?

    Thanks

  3. Axle backs arrived yesterday, fitted up today took about 45 mins I have a hoist, left muffler is a bit wonky tho most would not notice I'm picky.

Look good, much lighter than stock, I was concerned that they would be too loud and spoil the car well they don't they sound great.

So pleased with the purchase easy self install left muffler will or may require some work, USA forum mentioned that issued over the last couple of years

and it still has not been sorted out, would not stop me buying.

Took pics and will post over the weekend

what did you need to do on the left exhaust to get it fitted properly?

  4. Take a look at the new Dunlop Sport Maxx RT. $350 a corner...

have had mine in for a month, very happy with them... very quiet, grippy in the dry and wet!... the one thing i have noticed is, i use to lose a bit of traction in our work car park (polished floors) ever since the change, i dont see the traction control light as often and i can hear it grip and squeal while turning around corners......

  5. Hi Manny,

    Hi David

I'm very happy with these pads and I'm surprised they don't come as standard to avoid the dust issue.

I prefer the marginally firmer and more progressive pedal feel with these pads over the original dusty ones.

04465-53030 is the correct part number.

    cheers

Since I'm going to replace all the brake pads (front and rear) at once, is part 04465-53030 suitable for the front pads only (this where the biggest problem is with brake dust) or can the same part (04465-53030) be used to the replace rear brake pads as well?

I've taken a look at the Japanese website in the link above, but it seems the pads are out of stock. Seems that they are freely available in the US, but no one wants to ship here. Would you know if they are available locally ... or where else I can source them at reasonable cost? The Bendix pads look to be a good alternative from a cost point of view!

    Hi dajaja,

    if anyone else is interested,

part number for slotted DBA rotors: DBA2726SL (left) $161

    DBA2726SL (right) $161

brake pads - Bendix General CT P-DB1852GCT $125 a set

    K

Can the Bendix pads you've mentioned above (Bendix General CT P-DB1852GCT $125 a set) be used instead of the genuine Lexus pads (04465-53030)? Is the price is AUD$125? Would you have a suggestion or recommendation for where to source them...?

    Cheers,

    David

Hi David, I got the quote for pads and rotors from SuperCheap Autos in Brisbane. AUD$125 for the set. most automotive stores stock Bendix products.
