What happened that made your experiences poor?
I've always taken my Lexus' to Lexus of Brighton, even purchased the RX there brand new. Always been good to me :)
-
I usually get 9.1 on standard 17" wheels and 10.2 with 20" wheels.
Im similar to this, 8.9 on 16's, 10.2-10.5 on 19's

-

Car's looking good with the Ings kit man.

Read it again... I thought the same... he said 225 or 235 front... then he says 255 or 265 rear.
I'd say stick to 225 front if you can. I tried 235 on a 8.5" wheel with +38 offset and it scrubbed at half lock.
225 and the problem went away. Even the IS-F only uses a 225 front tyre.
265 on the rear won't be a problem at all. I run 275 and have never managed to get it to scrub no matter how hard I try.
Was this stock height or lowered? I'm looking at a 235/35/19 on a 8.5'' wheel with the same offset, just thinking now it may be better to go a 225.

Road Magnet springs will give you the biggest drop (~2 inches). Anything lower and you'll be looking at coilovers.
-
Cheers man, lowered on Tein S tech's. I'll let you know when I'm heading to future meets!
-
Haha I feel your pain in re. to studying for exams. Spotted your car at the JDMST meet earlier today, looking good man, nice drop. You parked behind me (white is250).
-
Width and offset will play a big deal in how much/little concave a wheel has.
-
They should 'settle' after a few days a be a bit lower. Nice choice though, seems to have dropped it a nice level. Got any bigger photos man? Interested in seeing your wheels haha

Some springs will require you to cut the bump stops. Unless stated, I would just leave them as is. When I installed my S Techs, it was written in the instructions that the bump stops did not need to be cut. Let us know how it goes and post up some pics!
-
Yup, 3M tape is fine, used it for my bootlip and holding on great.
-
Yeah, RM springs are the lowest springs avail. but will increase the wear of your shocks more as well. Looking forward to pics, I'm looking at rims in the exact same size and offset. What size tyres are you going to be running?
-
Back when I had my Skyline, many people recommended Federal 595s.
-
Well built, economical, good looking and very easy to live with daily. Could do with more power though :(
-
Just find out your stud pattern and see what other cars come in the same stud pattern.
-
Are cutting the bump stops necessary or even recommended when installing lowered springs? I'm about to install some S techs which do not need the bump stop to be cut but a lot of people who install springs seem to do it...
