  1. Nah, would be less than 2 finger gap height wise. Just looks that way from the angle combined with 15mm spacers. 20mm spacers look more flush, but you get rubbing problems in the front. I've got 245/275 tyres though that really square up the sidewalls though.

I'm very happy with the Swift springs. Very nice drop that looks even all round. It feels just a tad firmer than stock, hard to tell. Perfect drop IMO, still legal and practical with plenty of room underneath the car.

I love the set up, I'd only personally get coilovers if I had the harsh 2008-2009 IS-F.

  2. It's only 5-6 years old so if it's been maintained you shouldn't have anything to worry about. These cars are just about bulletproof.

Servicing costs vary from dealership to dealership. Call your local dealership and ask them mate, better to find out first hand for yourself. ;)

  3. Nice one Marcus! I installed my AFE dry panel filter yesterday, but I'm still waiting on my HPS intake tube which should get here today hopefully.

Love the placebo effect from changing filters haha! My butt dyno says it's got a bit better response lol! :)

  4. This is Linea Corse 19x10+38 square set up that a few guys in USA are running. This car has 245/35R19 front and 255/35R19 rear tyres.

These wheels are 32mm front and 29 rear poking out extra over stock. Not sure what issues these guys have either. Looks mean though! :)

  5. To be honest, I think you will struggle with that offset. It's a whopping 42mm front, and 39mm rear poking out from stock! 15mm-20mm looks pretty flush from what I can tell, you got 20mm spacers already don't you?

I've thought about going to a square set up, would be nice for extra front grip, and for the ability to rotate tyres around.

  6. Hey guys

    Thinking of going 255 / 30 or 35 / 19 in the front and 275 / 30 / 19 in the rear in a Pirelli

    Thoughts?

The size everyone goes to is 245/35R19 front and 275/30R19 rear. I'm running this size in Michelin Pilot Super Sport and I will never go back to stock tyre size!

I can't comment on the Pirellis other than every tyre test I've read places the Michelins at number one.....

  7. About 450kms per tank seems to be average for my ISF. Sometimes less, sometimes more..... Wouldn't be banking on much more than 500kms or so even if you baby it all the time.

The missus drives it to work during the week, and I get to blow out the cobwebs on the weekend lol! :p

  8. Over the '10 model, the '11 has got DRL headlights, diffent gauge cluster, more responsive power steering, and more dampening tweaks (slightly softer springs and stronger dampening).

The '12 model got the new Sachs dampers instead of the old Tokico's, and nicer 1/2" wider wheels. Don't think they made any changes after this though for the next years?

  9. Ok, time to ask this question again....

Just got my renewal through AAMI, the thieves want $2600. Just called Lexus insurance and they want $1900 with a few hundred lower excess, but $5k less value for the car. Called AAMI about it and they won't change.

Who are people going through nowdays for a decent deal?
