  1. SOLD!
  2. i just checked both 2IS and 3IS, it appears the SL models share the same tyre specs @ 255/40/18, but the 3IS FSport does run 255/35/18. not sure why this is the case. given OP car is a 2IS, 255/40/18 would be the ideal size to run, as per factory specs. assuming wheel sizes are the same. as strange as the specs are for the rears, they are factory sizes.
  3. the rears are 255/40/18 on my car. factory 18" rims the factory size for the rear 17" is 245/45/17
  4. Might be more cost effective to replace the whole guard from a later model, as filling the hole will require welding and a respray...
  5. it is definately a personal choice (both tastes and budget), it will come down to what kind of car you want to build, be it track inspired, stanced, classy etc... safest colour for a grey IS would be silver or polished in my opinion.
  6. coming from a modifed car, you would have to grab the attention of the police before they will scrutinise your car. if you're still running stock wheels, they wont know much better, especially with the IS.
  7. Agree with Kyo, cut/trim all the plastic prongs and dremel the metal bolts off. the 3M tape is sufficient enough to hold. just ensure the boot panel is clean and free from waxes etc. use alcohol cleaner to be 100% sure.
  8. I just replaced my pads with Project Mu Type NS, and rotors with RDA blanks. no noise whatsover and dust levels down to a minimum. my car is a 2011 IS250 with 40,000km.
  9. Thanks for that advice! i always have my S4 with the key in 1 pocket, and have been having delays/problems locking/unlocking my IS...
  10. i was fortunately able to see the White LFA in the Chatswood dealership whilst i was there to testdrive the 3IS. and only few weeks ago, at the service centre, they had fired up the dealer principle's LFA, pure pleasure on the ears... cant wait for the next Lexus driveday/track day, hopefully to have a ride in the LFA...
  11. Steve
