Come on guys, take the opportunity and get one cheap while we can get them and not miss the production run, then we can have one installed before Taupo trackday :)
I must say that the ride with my Apexi N1 is far superior to the standard setup. The kit comes standard with 11kgf/mm springs for the front and 9 kgf/mm in the rear. I believe the only thing I still need to do is the swaybars.
I had no real problem on the wet winding roads on the cruise, the only issue would have been that I had to raise the car another 20 mm the night before to allow for the *BLEEP*ty rough backroads and the fact I had no time to get a wheel alignment done, so that did effect the feel a little.
The only times the car stepped out of line was when I fully intended on it happening
hey dude, you should sell the IS when its fixed, buy an Altezza and use the extra money to fit all the extra go fast bits :)
Still its a bummer dude, I hope the insurance doesnt stuff you around to much and they dont use browns bay panelbeaters aye!
Im very keen to hear how it goes, I was looking into using NOS myself originally but wasnt to keen on being the first here to try it on the altezza.. What size jet have you put in?
TRD do one that changes the speedo to where the rev counter is and the rev counter to the large center guage. It goes to 240kmh and 10000 rpm. From memory its around NZ$1700
Oh yeah, how rude of me....Welcome to the club Lisa! Im glad you have seen the light and converted to style from unreliable power.
If you win Lotto...Can I have a turbo too? :D
Maybe us aucklanders could cruise to the Waikato one weekend???
Im also sick of turning it off, and am going to look into a way of switching it off with some sort of relay when the engine is started. My old man is an auto sparky so I will talk to him about it.
