Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has researched Xenon bulbs and wants to share a little knowledge? I have a IS200 (2000) with standard headlights and was wondering is it is possible to simply replace the bulbs (I have seen some bulbs on Trademe.co.nz for around $15) or do you have to get a special kit for it? If someone has simply replaced the bulbs, which brand did you use and has it 'clouded' the lens at all? I have heard that this can occur. Was it a straight swap for the OEM ones? I am planning on buying an IS200 (6cyl) in two weeks time and want to connect an iPod to the standard head unit. Has anyone gone through this process before? Basically, has the head unit got a line-in (say, AUX) that can be used? If so, on the iPod end of the lead will be a 3.5m stereo plug - what’s the plug type on the head unit end? Is it dual RCA? Thanks for your assistance. Michael :D :D Other notes: - I have an iTrip but have found it to be more annoying than its worth. - I would like to keep the standard head unit in the car.
