2010 model with GPS display

My iPod has worked perfectly in my IS250 for 3 years. But since my last service the AUX button does not work, and also will not connect on the ''Audio" display. I have checked the manual and disconnected and re-connected the iPod but nothing seems to work. Anyone else had this problem? Do I need to go back to the dealer? (The iPod itself is working perfectly).
