  1. Hi all Although the figures are not recent they do give an indication on how well the IS250 is doing compared to its peers. Here are the results for Jan 2006 for the medium luxury segment. As you can see from the sales there is not much between Lexus, Audi and M-Benz. What are your thoughts, feedback?? MAKE UNITS SOLD BMW 3 Series 600 Lexus IS250 254 Audi A4 247 M-Benz C class 239 SAAB 93 70 Cheers Lexusyd
  2. Only Lexus (entire range) generic figures: Feb 2006 Feb 2005 509 units V's 435 units up 27.6% on last years results
  3. Hi All Just found out latest sales data for Dec 05 sales in Australia. BMW 3 Series - 320 units Lexus IS250 - 298 units ^_^ Not bad for being on the market for 1 month. I wouldn't be surprised to see IS250 outsell 3 series as it gains acceptance and media attention (ie: wheels car of the year finalist). I expect to see BMW counter Lexus by offering sharper pricing or adding value to the 3 series in order to protect sales. I continue to see more on the road too - today I saw a black and silver IS250 - very nice! Lets see how things pan out over comming months. CHeers Lexusyd
  4. No doubt you have heard that the Mazda MX5 won the wheels 2005 car of the year. The IS250 was in the 4 finalists. Wheels always make mention of cars that have a space saver spare wheel. Might be ok in the UK and in Europe but hardly approriate to Australian conditions. Does the IS250 have a space saver? Criticism has been raised towards the BMW 3 series on this issue. Supporters claim that having a space saver reduces weight and allows for greater storage capacity. A criticism noted towards the IS250 is the lack of rear space for passengers. If the IS250 does have a space saver spare wheel could engineers used this additional space to ensure the rear seat passengers have more leg room? What do you think?
