After 11 years, something has gone inside my Transmission Shift Assembly. All of a sudden, shifting gears became stiff and now, when I slot it into sports mode, when pushing the shifter up, it doesn't pop back to the centre position, as if a "spring" is broken.
It works when shifting down (the gear shift bounces back to the centre position). Does anyone know how to fix or diagnose the problem? I have had the part costed by Lexus. There is not one in Australia and it cost $1756.00 for the 33550 replacement unit. 😞
