How often do you service your car? Do you go to the main dealer or do you fo elsewhere? If you go elswhere is it cheaper and how much cheaper is it?

Steve,

I'm a recent Lexus owner so this response if from a narrow perspective.

With my car, irrespective of make, I've found it pays to follow the manufacturer's recommended service intervals. Since my car is still under warranty, I'm not taking any chances and getting it serviced as recommended, and at Lexus Brighton, from where I bought it.

Having said that, come September when the warranty expires, not sure what I'll do! I'm sure it will be cheaper to get it serviced elsewhere, but have no experience in this space so shall wait for my more experienced forum members to respond.
