Hi friends,,,I have 1990 Toyota Celsior / LS400. At what rpm does the car idle when the car is in "P" (parking)and "D" (drive) gear with the A/C off? At what rpm does the car idle when the car is stopped in "N" neutral. Please answer me. It shows 200 rmp right now. Where to fix it ?? with electrician or Mechanic ?? appreciate.

Engine idle in park should be around 800rpm when warm, that'll drop to around 700rpm when in D, good mechanice should be able to fix it for you. Sounds like your Idle air controller has problems, or needs a good clean.
