Horn Not Working

hey guys, cannot believe none of you have never had to replace this little expensive harness under the steering wheel. Its called a clockspring or spiral wire and runs your horn, aig bag wiring and cruise control.I have lost all these functions and Lexus in Aus quote $600 for the thing. From US its only about $300 AU shipped, but slightly different part no.Anyone out there had one replaced, or having similar probs??
