hi all,

just bought a LS400 1993 australian delivered model.. lovin it so far..

only thing is it didnt come with key transponders and i noticed on the dash that you can turn on the remote key system..

so does that mean i goto lexus and give them my chassis number and they could supply some key transponders to suit my vehicle?

If you dont have the master key then you may have a problem

well i got 2 keys that work the doors and boot. just dont have one with a transponder..

well dropped into newcastle lexus today. none of them remember the phone call from thursday..

so spoke to them today and it should be sorted soon..

BTW, my Lexus Dealer in Auckland gives me special discounted prices on Lexus parts, why not ask for a better price?

Great Diagrams and part number references, why can't Lexus provide this service?

There was a fantastic Toyota/Lexus database online that included all part numbers and exploded diagrams including the Celsior and Soarer which had to be removed after Toyota threatened legal action.

well loving her still averaging 11.8 litres per 100km.. hell yeah

i was thinking next serivice ill change the 02 sensors out see if it improves any..

once i finish my rx3 im thinking of chucking a pair of gt28's under the back of the engine.. hehe
