Is250 Engine Misfire Recall/carbon In Us?

Hi Guys,

I came across this video - even though it's based on the US GS300 it also mentions about IS250 engines. Does anyone have any additional information on this? I assume the engines themselves whether US/AU spec all come from Japanese factory.

I haven't got anything from Lexus Australia and my dealer hasn't mentioned anything during my scheduled servicing.

Apologies if this has already be posted or mentioned somewhere.

I know the carbon deposits were a common thing with direct injectors for the IS250's however was yours fixed under warranty from a dealer or even a part rebuild of piston rings, seals like the above video?
