Tyre size
Hey guys, looking for some input on tyre sizes, just bought some 8" wheels and can't decide between 225/45 or 245/40 tyres, the 245s have less of a difference in rolling radius to stocks but I know it's on the top end of recommended size for 8" wheels. just wondering if anyone has run 245s without issues? 17" rims btw cheers -

Hi Spooky. No I haven't picked up an LS460 yet. I'm still looking and researching. There's a fellow In Toowoomba who is now into grey imports and he is checking the Japanese auctions and will report back to me in due course. Not sure whether or not I want to go down that path. Cheers, Robin -

Tyres for 2012 RX450h
I upgraded to Dunlop 255/50R20 Sports Maxx 060+ on my 2021 RX. The tyres tend to bag off the rim ever so slightly and with my wife driving this car more I thought that this was a good thing to minimise the risk of gutter rash. The rolling circumference of these tyres is minimally different. Just don't tell me wife though 🙂
