Ive seen ebay touch screen replacements for about $150 plus shipping and you install it yourself

G'day guys, my name is Bill and this is my first post on this forum as i have recently acquired an IS250. Just wanting to shed some light on this touch screen issue as some may not be aware.

My understanding is that it can be repaired and there are many people around (based on google and gumtree ads) who can carry out the work and the cost ranges from 250 to about 450 depending where you go.

I'm based in Sydney and although i haven't had mine repaired just yet, i'll be taking it to a guy in Marrickville in the next couple days so i will keep you guys posted on the outcome, Cheers

Does your touchscreen have the well known problem where it does not respond to touch but otherwise works?
