Check Engine Light

Hi fellows,

I got wheel alignment done on my 1993 Soarer , as soon as i started the car the Engine light lit up and then when the car moved it went off, the car however drove beautifully. Also after a couple of restarts i noticed the light only comes up at start up , I wanted to know if the ECU would issue a warning on detecting change in something like an alignment?
