Nasty Paint Chip

Just recently noticed a paint chip on the hood of my is250. What should I do to make it look as good as possible. Ive attached what it looks like

Hey jesseshi,

You have an 06 IS 250. Is that the graphite colour?

You can apply a blob of touch-up paint, together with the LANGKA paint repair kit (available by mail order). The only issue is that the solid touch-up paint provided by Lexus may not match all that well with the metallic factory paint ... But if the chip is small, it may not matter all that much.

yep youre correct. I used touch up paint and has become less noticeable. I think after wetsanding and buffing it will improve it more.

Ouch that is one deep paint chip... def cover it up with touch up paint so that it doesnt start to rust up until you get a proper respray one day
