I am thinking of buying one of these with more than 200k kms on the clock. Does anyone have experience with Lexus of this era with this many kms?

Are there likely to be major repairs needed in the first year of ownership? What would be an appropriate servicing schedule be after purchase?

Thanks in advance :)

My 1997 ES300, a recent purchase, has 282K kms on the clock and the engine & transmission seem sound. Well overdue for a timing belt kit replacement (every 100K kms & over $400 inc water pump & seals). It goes well despite some neglect.
