forthecressida Posted April 25, 2018 Share Posted April 25, 2018 I was approached completely randomly by someone in a carpark yesterday who asked, 'do you have trouble with your gearbox?' I couldn't believe it! This lady has an ES300 2003 model in NZ with exactly the same problem as mine as does her daughter in law. She mentioned something about a 'sensor/computer' was the problem and given me great hope to get my car fixed. Any comments greatly appreciated. forthecressida Posted November 3, 2018 Author Share Posted November 3, 2018 What was happening was the car was shuddering to a halt, just before i stopped the gearbox would go 'thud thud' and kinda jerk forward a bit, in every other respect the gearbox was fine.
