Has anyone done extensive long distance travel in RX350?

If anyone has done major long distance travel around Australia, I'm interested to know what sort of modifications or conversions you made to the car, if any, what the experience was like and what would you recommend for the future.

sydney to cairns and return in a 2006 standard RX350. Ran perfectly, 3 people fully loaded, 9.2L/100kms when cruising .

will be doing Sydney to Adelaide return via Melbourne in August and then sydney Perth  return in October.  Last wkend went Central Coast Tamworth return with 2 passengers   8.6l/100kms.               They are a fantastic touring car.
