2008 LX570 Navigation DVD player

Hey Fellas,

LX570 Navigation  DVD player wont play the navigation DVD, it would take it in and spin but making noise like something is stuck inside. Is this an issue with dvd player or something else?

Also, has anyone got any idea how to take the dvd player out? I will be able to fix the rest.

Were you trying to update the nav maps ? If so I believe ( if I remember correctly ) the actual disc drive to update maps is not the normal audio system player I think my local Lexus dealer said mine was in the glove compartment somewhere, mine is not reading the disc either and costs somewhere around $7000-8000 to replace. Google maps it is for me lol. 2008 lx570.
