IS250 Alternator help

Hi guys,

I have a 2010 IS250. The missus was driving it and all of a sudden the car lost power and she just managed to pull the steering wheel to get it to the side of the road. Thank god this happened on a side street and she hadn't yet got on the motorway. NRMA guy charged the battery and as soon as he unhooked his terminals the battery began dropping voltage heaps. Very strange because it's never had an issue and we were driving it all weekend moving, she had driven it the day before and that morning and all was fine.

I'm pretty sure this is the alternator -- just wondering if you guys can recommend somewhere to purchase one (part number 27060-31211) and also if there are higher amp alternators that would suit. I haven't worked on a car for about 8 years (did the alternator myself a long time ago) so the missus wants me to take it somewhere and not do it myself lol. Do you have any recommendations around Lidcombe? Also what kind of cost I would be looking at? I'll be getting the car towed somewhere and I've been out of the game for a very long time. Previous car was under factory warranty so it was always getting serviced by Toyota.
