Current RX350H fuel guage

Hi

i have had my 2023 RX350H for about 9 months and I have an issue with the fuel guage reading. The fuel light comes on yet I can only get 50 lts or so when refuelling. I have spoken to Lexus about this and they say it is within range of accepted error. My view is 50/65 lts is a 23% error and essentially I can travel another 250km with what is left. This feels like a fault to me. I have even taken to driving well past the warning , most recently travelling 100km past the ‘zero” warning and still only managed to use 55 lts to fill. 
interested to hear if others have any concerns or comments.

the car can still do another 40 kms or more out of it

for a hybrid even more

think of it more of a early warning system

Thanks for your response.  
my issue is that I can do 250 km more when  the fuel light first goes on. 
 The fuel gauge is not accurate by a long way, I’m asking if anyone else is experiencing this in the latest RX models.

Exactly the same problem with my Rx500h.

I have never had to put any more than 45 litres in a 65 litre tank from close to empty. I always fill up before gauge shows empty. That leaves me with 20 litres  of fuel that I never get the useful distance of.
Going in for 12mth service tomorrow and will see what b/s they serve up as an excuse. Surely they should be able to recalibrate the gauge!
