I currently own a wrx, but thinking to buy Altezza RS200. But I am a bit confused about its specifications. Can somebody tell me does RS200 have a turbo??? not Stock Standard...its just a natural aspirated 2.0 litre 4 cylinder dial VVT-i that makes 154kw stock...there are a Trust Turbo and Toms Turbo available...also a Blitz Super Charger...but it will cost ya, depends what kind of power you want if you are not very picky stock with an aftermarket filter and exhuast will be fine... ivanbad
As I mentioned before I have MY01 wrx with 140atw and it goes from 0-100 in about 5-5.5seconds. I thought I can do something like that with Altezza :( . I am in Sydney and after I sell my car I will have around AU$30.000 to spend. I probably can get a turbo kit, but how fast will it go. Is it better to get a 3.0L and modify it? Will it go faster than 2.0L? What would be the power of 2.0L with filter and exhaust? How fast 2.0L with simple mods would it be? Sorry about so many questions? Thanks for the info

Thanks for the info ummmm....don't think you can get the Altezza in OZ...they are not allowed, you can only get IS200 and 300...114kw and 157kw...and $30,000 AUD will not be enough for an IS300... SnowwolF
Hi mate. N/A never could beat up the Turbo. Turbo always Turbo. If you modified your Turbo car. It sounds pretty easy to boost up. on the other hand. you have to put $$$$$$$$$$ on your N/A car. anyway. N/A car last longer than Turbo, in my opinion. Cause I had some experience. I had Turbo cars before. and I always repaired them when they got problems. So far, I have not put any budget to repair my Altezza. So, consider carefully. prefer Turbo, Go for Turbo. Prefer Altezza, Definitely buy an Altezza!!! anyway, welcome to be the member of Altezza /lexus CLUB. best wishes to you. cheers Tian
hkgs300
A NA car will run much smoother than a turbo car and does not have the TURBO lag. Also fuel consumption will be much better on a NA. However, if you really want a turbo, you can do that as well. The Altezza is a very popular car in Japan, so a lot of very high-quality tuning products can be get.
