Front Set Of Brakes?

is it just me or does the front set of wheels gather up brake dust like CRAZY?

Thats because they do most of the braking

I forget the percentages, but the rears have a minor role when braking to a stop

However the park brake relies on the rear brakes only

If that makes sense ;)

Thus the fronts gather more dirt

The IS and the JDM Altezza uses differnt brake pads so we get a hell of alot more brake dust.

...and the tyre guys spray silicon oil everywhere to make the tyres look black, which then sits on the rims and picks up all the brake dust....

But yeah, the fronts get lots of dirt and just need a wipeover with a rag frequntly.

Don't use your brakes :D or when they need replacing, change them to dust "reduced" pads.

I wash the wheels less frequently now :)

I haven't noticed any brake dust to be honest or not to a level where i've noticed, hopefully i've got some aftermarket pads!!!!
