How Many Keys Should I Have?

Only received 2 sets when I bought my 2004 RX330.

The dealer says I should have at least 3 - they normally keep one but the previous owner must have kept them! I dont want to give them my only spare.

How would I go trying to get the others from him?

I received 3 (main) keys, but was told new Lexus are only delivered with 2, and the previous owner of my car purchased another key later on from the dealer.

Its OK, found I actually had 3 - 2 with the buttons and another that I can leave with the dealer, it doesnt open the glove box I think...

All vehicles are sold with 3 keys two are master keys and one a sub key....
