 Hi all ,I am new here. But I love altezza for nearly 3 years. I really like being a friend of yours.

I just got my one for a month. ;) My one is a 1999 QUALITAT 6 spd Mt. I really want to change the air intake (air filter). But I found the air flow sensor is in the stock air box. So I need some help like how to modify it? Do I need to buy just a pod filter or full kit? which brand airfilter or intake kit is better?

Are there anyone have pics with modified air intake system? Please let me have a look.

Thanks~~a~~~lot~~~~

cheers

Hi greeneyes and Lsportsline.

I really like to join you guys.

I have a 3S-GE, 4 cylinder not really as same as Gav's. But the body's same.

I want to mod the air intake. But I got stuck on the ari flow sensor. I know I can buy a nice brand of whole suction kit and S-AFC. But it seems to dear for me. I just want to buy a nice pod filter and my buget is around 4-500NZD.

I dont know where to start......

some of my friend told me that I can go to pitstop to buy a pipe to fit the pod filter and make a hole on it to fit the airflow sensors. But this is my baby I want to give it the best I can get. So I am not sure if this idea is perfect.

Did you mod your ones? please I need some advices......

poor me..... :(

I just found a nice brand for the springs. I' d like to share with you all. The brand is "kgmm" I bought a set for 560NZD, and lowerd rate are frond 35mm rear 30mm. the kg/m is 8.2 in front and 7.8 at rear. I havent got it yet so I dont know how is the feeling to drive above thoese springs. But compare with other brand from the data. it is better. :)

Hi Turbo,

Don't bother going with Pit Stop, the best Intake all round for the 3S-Ge is the Apex-i with heatshield, if you read my review on top about the lack of low end power and torque on the 3S-GE, it will be the best for you, I can get a set for $477 NZD + Shipping...they will help your car gain both hp and torque at low and high end...a few members in the club has already install it on their car and loved it...kg/mm springs are not very popular...people usually go with TRD / Tanabes and C-Ones...don't bother with Kings!
