Cost (incl install) $695

Actually feels like more low-end torque. I notice it accelerates better now.

Yes that was us.

Buy two and save :D ($695 installed)

My short list were Trust PEII and HKS Silent Hyper. I wanted the angle mounting which the Trust offered and the new version is full stainless steel. So decided on the Trust.

Answer: Yes, money well spent.

However, expect a wait for them ;)

No extractors/headers. Just the rear section of the exhaust.

So that's $695, cat-back? Interesting. And not bad either - do you remember the cost of the HKS one, and any difference (that you know of) in sound? It is "Silent hyper" after all...

Trying to decide currently what to do with mine, whether to do the extractors and go right to the back, and replace cat with resonator or what... not so sure whether removing the cat is wise if new emissions laws come in either.

Decisions, decisions... :D

Was quoted $1095 without fitting for the HKS.

The exhaust is from the rear section....from the flange with 2 spring loaded bolts (just in front of the rear axle).

Finally, after 8 weeks wait....

Trust Power Extreme II Exhaust

Full Stainless Steel Piping

Noticeable power increase and freer revs :P

..... very shiny and very happy :D

Hi stephenc:

nice looking pipe!

Is the whole system u got imported from JP specifically deigned to fit IS/Altezza?

(I mean is it just bolt-on, rather than locally weld on custom piping?)

Did it make a big difference in noise level? any uncomfortable resonance?

How about yours Lextacy (on IS300)?

thanks

yea.. I should've dropped in ADVAN, but i was on the other side of traffic. I work just around the corner. :)

well.. seems like $695 bucks + the $30 to put on will be going into the car within the next 12 days - cause thats when they will get another one in !!

I was abit over the "angle mounted" thing... but I guess I dont mind it

hmm.. looks like it should be the TRUST N1 club now. hehehe

hey LEX-80Y... those stocky lex rims look good siiting in my garage COLLECTING DUST !! hehehe LOL

Yes, it's a Japanese Import.....manufactured for the IS/Altezza. Bolt-on.

No resonance. Quiet. Just enough to notice it's not standard :P

However, if you're after a loud exhaust, then perhaps consider an Apexi N1.

Not sure about Lextcy's IS300...but on the 200, exhaust note is very nice cuising at around 2000 rpm :D

I think you've sold me guys! Trust it is, insurance willing. *nods* So can frylai get them cheap too, or is $695 the reasonable fitted rate? :D

What are your thoughts on piping, were I to go cat back, or extractors back? Or is there not really much to be gaining in doing that unless I put aftermarket extractors on?
