Tints That Came With The Luxury Pack %

Anyone know what the % amount is on the tints that came with the luxury pack? Accurate information please.

According to what I think frylai told me earlier, they're 45%. However, I plan to get my fronts done with 35% - one would hardly notice the difference between them I'm guessing.

Yes it is 45%, 35% will be close to a perfect match if you use the deflector from Solace.

looks pretty dark though. thought its around 25

I went to a tinting place in Auckland and got them to test it out, they said it was 45%...sometime you can miss led it when the amount of glare and the colour of the tint is different from each other!

It can't be 25% as for a regular vehicle such as an Altezza, the legal limit in NZ is 35%. From a manufacturer's point of view, I suspect one would be somewhat conservative as different countries have different limits and so forth. I guess 45% makes sense.

Factory tinted glass... even if it was 25% it would still be ok... the law only applies to aftermarket crap

Anyway, gwin - if you're going to get the rest done aftermarket, aren't you going to be bound by the aftermarket limit anyway?

And I don't know about you, gwin, but the tints in my Altezza aren't that dark really, so I have NO idea how you could think it was 25%... :-o

I had 18% on mine before I had to pull them off for AIS. planning on going limo tint next round but bringing it to my mate to get it passed. made a mistake and brought it to someone with a reputation. *DAMN*

I had the rears tested on the my Altezza, they are 37%

Hmm, interesting. I'm guessing maybe there's some uncertainty in the measurements - perhaps only accurate +/- 5%?
