Exhaust Muffler.....

Hi there,

Just wondering what you guys recommend as a rear muffler for the Altezza? A 2 1/2 inch? Just getting a full custom exhaust system put together by Pit-Stop and thinking about purchasing a nice rear muffler. Do you recommend anything? Replacing the headers also. Cheers!

yeah good to change the exhaust

but personally id neva recommend pitstop to do a job

but thats persoanl pref

Usual story...

Be very interested and watch them do everything. Watch for shortcuts and pipes that are not 'clean' inside. Many years ago I bought a Coby performance manifold, then cut the collector off to change its shape. I found the pipes were all roll cut at the end and the dags were obstructing the air flow. Took 3min to file clean, but they hadn't taken that time.

Are you getting a 4into2into1, or a 4into1 manifold?

Anyone know indicative costs for getting a full header -> tip exhaust system built, for arguments sake with the Trust Power ExtremeII rear, stainless, 2.5"?

Are we talking a couple of grand?
