Hi all,

Anyone know where I can get decent mudflaps for the RX350? I can't seem to get OEM ones from Lexus Australia.

Cheers

I'm surprise you can't source OEM from your local Lexus dealer. are yours damaged coz they come standard on the car.

Wierd never had any from factory, do have pics of what yours looks like?

Are you talking front or rear? Car comes standard with rear flaps, but no front flaps. My dealer (Lexus of Perth) told me the front flaps are just not available. I ended up getting a pair of cheapos from Super Cheap - they don't look very good, but they have stopped the stone chips.

Same deal here, rears are there but no front.

But guess what, found out that overseas they do have OEM Mudflaps to suit the RX330/RX350. If you're interested, the part number is #08414-48820.

Couple of places on ebay sell them :

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110573056580&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370416909098&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Also found them on some of the lexus dealer sites in the USA. I like the OEM fitment on them, they look quite nice, I'll put in an order in a couple of weeks so will report back on them.

How did you get on with the mud flaps?

Perfect fitment, looks heaps better with them than without. I'll try to get photos over the weekend.

Sorry for the crappy photo but here it is..

http://picasaweb.google.com.au/lh/photo/hI0VrC9GayJn4U-cHlSB6zdrE3a1CVJrTE8JrAPsOwI?feat=directlink

Bought them from an ebay seller called lindsayautoparts for roughly $100.

There is minor drilling required, but very clear toyota instruction manual on how to do that.

Great Howie. They arrived about 5 days after I ordered them, easy to fit and look the part. However, they are more of a flared wheel arch moulding than a proper mudflap (as they are on most modern cars) - but then I guess not many RX owners go driving thru the mud. I actually use my car for work and it involves the odd gravel road, dairy farm track etc. My last vehicle was a 'proper' 4x4 but I find the Harrier a good compromise - very nice on the highway and useful enough on the byways that I use. We can buy them here for just under $30K and that makes them much cheaper than 4x4's such as the Nissan Pathfinder etc.of a similar age.

Thanks for the advice Howie
