peterb
Some lemons make lemonade, others just make your blood boil. First time buyer who has had an eye out for a soarer and finally took the plunge. The good news is that its my fault and I can not blame others....no matter how good it makes one feel. I have a car that is a v8 and performing like a bunny hopping vw.(not what I thought it would be like) Bought 1 week ago, ive done more than 1000km making the statutory warranty useless but still have the extended warranty that may help. To my surprise, the windows dont work properly, the boot does not stay up, the radio and CD are useless and the car has no power.... Please tell me that things get better????? Agreed!!! 20 years old and past its best days is not an issue. (reminds me of myself) However, surely there has to be an acceptable minimal expectation that basic things work? I would not pay $7 for a porsche if it ran the way this one does at the moment but the reality is that silly me paid a great deal more. The responsibility is mine and it is a bitter pill to swallow! dis-lex-sic
You bought a Japanese domestic Toyota that has been personally imported so you have no real idea of the true milage on it or where it came from. Buy yourself an Australian delivered Lexus and then you will be able to comment on Lexus.
