Can you let me know where you got the tyres from and how much they were just so I have an idea of the total price? Also, where's the pics?!! :D Thanks Sorry, i'll get some pics taken, I assure you they are genuine rims - Lexus of Newcastle had a look Friday week ago, and were amazed to see an owner who actually did some of their own legwork to save money. You know why Lexus charges so much for wheels like that? Because they can - many 'Lexus people' (possibly including some owners on here) are loaded, and are easily parted with their money because they couldn't be bothered doing a little hunting around..... they just write the cheque. Tyres: I just got some mid spec Toyos from my local Tyrepower store. 225/40/18 front, 245/40/18 rear, total cost $$896 fitted and balanced. :) Yes, I know factory rear is a 255/40/18, but I opted for the 245s as they were quite a bit cheaper and do the job fine.

5K? Landed my genuine Lexus Is250 18s for less than $1200 Australian, add another $800 for tyres and they're on the car for 2K. Geez guys, get on ebay, get onto UPS, and do a bit of legwork yourselves if you want them. It aint a hard thing to do. ;)

I have 5 year old twins and it's fine for them, and should be ok until they are about 10 when we'll be ready to sell anyway. They aren't as blessed with room as they were in our VX Commodore SS, and periodically remind me of that, but they aren't too bad. But no, it aint a family car in reality.

My Sports model rims arrived today! Genuine Toyota rims, around $A1150 landed and at my door. Very very happy, i'll post a piccy in a few days. :)

no, that's $1250 Australian - cost was $599US so converted that's just on $750, plus $500 Oz to freight and clear them.

about $500 door to door (from Georgia) including customs charges. :) So a set of factory 18s for about $1250 by the time I get them to my house.

December 2006 Prestige, black on black, $62750 drive away (no more to pay) - including enhancement pack! :) And no, not a demo car, that was brand new stock.

I've got factory 18s on order from the States - picked up 4 genuine Sports rims (2 x 18/8, 2 x 18/8.5) for $599.00 US - look on ebay. :) Plenty more available, and in my opinion the car doesn't look any good riding on dodgy rims that are the wrong size.
